Hettie’s Moon By S N Walsh I sit alone in a room all my own A bed, a chair, a radio, TV My window pane shields me from the summer rain Never knew how small my world could be Hettie’s moon… oooh… Old music plays tunes from my younger days The memories are sweet, as was the wine I had it all, suitors at my beck and call But call to family life was never mine Hettie’s moon, come back soon, Hettie’s moon Hettie’s moon, come back soon… And as I look back upon my life Should I have been some child’s mother, husband’s wife We dance alone at night and laugh, the moon and me May it live on as I age out of this society I seized the day, lived my life my own way Kept my promise never to regret Now my window pane shields me from the winter rain I haven’t found a way around it yet Hettie’s moon, come back soon, Hettie’s moon Hettie’s moon, come back soon, Hettie’s moon Hettie’s moon, see you soon… Hettie’s moon

Waste of Time By S N Walsh Thank you, you cleared my writer's block By having the sensitivity of a rock For making optimism such a crime, And showing me that you're a waste of time! Thank you, for making it a sin To think that I might ever just fit in And thanks for treating me like slime And proving to me you're a waste of time! And here's why: I gave to you got NOTHING BACK I prayed for you got NOTHING BACK I helped you and got NOTHING BACK I tried to save you and got nothing back... (NOTHING BACK) nothing back... (NOTHING BACK) Wow, you really are the best Leaving me alone three months to rest Forgetting me that long was just sublime It helped me see that you're a waste of time And here's why: I gave to you got NOTHING BACK I prayed for you got NOTHING BACK I helped you and got NOTHING BACK I tried to save you and got nothing back... (NOTHING BACK) nothing back... (NOTHING BACK) Thank you for the good times that we shared Yes I thank you even if I was prepared To blow up when I gave up on you; now I find Sometimes it's good to waste a little time And now I find sometimes it's good to waste some time And now I find sometimes it's good to waste some time And now I find sometimes it's good to waste some time...

Slowburn 02:16
Slowburn S N Walsh Some music catch you and release you Some music gonna make you slowburn I’m hit and run Well if I ever had a notion to stir up a big commotion that’s the one Well I’m a gonna hear you once and I’m a gonna hear you twice and I’m a gonna take a third hit of that slowburn You’ll need oxygen So get respiring in a mask and put some spirit in a flask and have some fun Just dig yer cat clothes out, Step back into that rockabilly line Cos when the worm is in your head You’re gonna shimmy in the shed Howlin’ under that moonshine Some tunes are gonna leave you hummin’ Some rhythm leave you with the slowburn Staple gun Right between the eyes, oh man, ya gotta sympathize that it’s begun So dig yer blue suedes out, Step back into that rockabilly line Cos when the worm is in your head You’re gonna shimmy in the shed Howlin’ under that moonshine Some music catch you and release you Some music gonna make you slowburn I’m hit and run Well if I ever had a notion to stir up a big commotion that’s the one Well if I ever had a notion to stir up a big commotion that’s the one Well if I ever had a notion to stir up a big commotion that’s the one

Sky Trippin’ Through The Universe By S N Walsh Yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah – Sky trippin’ through the universe I thought I had it made With the Paddington Brigade I fell out of the sky No chance to say goodbye So I say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah – Sky trippin’ through the universe Although those days have gone The memory lives on I’ll make it on my own And show how much I’ve grown So I say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah – Sky trippin’ through the universe I remember when I thought I’d never fly again My strength will ebb and flow The good times come and go So just keep fighting and say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah I hear – I hear you say yeah – Sky trippin’ through the universe

about

4 genres. 1 earth immigrant.

A country song, a punk(ish?) song, a rockabilly song, and something vaguely resembling synthpop (but also with guitars). All the songs that didn't fit in anywhere else are here in one big happy multi-genre puddle. Enjoy!

Note: Hettie's Moon features Doug Paulin on lead guitar.
All other noise made by earth immigrant.

about

earth immigrant California

From 1979-1999, Pluto's eccentric orbit placed it closer to the sun than Neptune. Therefore, earth immigrant (b.1980, Zigian Air Fields, Neptune) indeed comes from the farthest planet in our system. I hate to think we Neptunians are so petty, but support for planetary demotion of Pluto was very high on the blue giant, and I can’t help but think it’s because we like being far out - the farthest! ... more
